Why our Raw, Unfiltered Honey is different…
At Heavenly Honey company we do things in the most inefficient, labor intensive way. You may be asking yourself, “why on earth would they do that on purpose?!?!” We do things the way we do because we have found that, in the end, the results are simply better and our customers notice. We bring our raw and unfiltered honey in from beekeepers who keep their bees locally. Our raw honey comes to us in 55 gallon drums and we warm each drum individually and then pour our honey one drum at a time. We NEVER blend our raw unfiltered honey to achieve a particular flavor or color. From warming to pouring the process takes 10-12 days. We never rush the process. The reason we never blend our pure and raw honey is because we believe raw honey is much like wine, it is a product of its environment and each environment is unique unto itself.
