Our Meadowfoam honey is a very unique honey to say the least! It comes from Oregon right next door to where our Wild Blackberry honey is made. This is a highly sought after honey and it’s not always easy to find! Meadowfoam is grown for the cosmetic industry. They harvest the seeds from the plant and use the oils in the seeds for cosmetics. The bees help pollinate the flowers and in the process they make this honey that tastes like toasted marshmallows or creme brûlée. Depending on the batch there can be a subtle berry finish courtesy of the nearby wild blackberry brambles.
