Our Alfalfa honey comes from the Antelope Valley and Inland Empire Valley where there are many alfalfa hay farms. This honey is very similar to our Buckwheat honey with just a bit more caramel flavors. The Alfalfa honey often surprises people with how good it is! The Alfalfa honey has perhaps a bit more strength in flavor than the Buckwheat honey. It will hold up well to heat in cooking so it lends itself well to using as a substitute for brown sugar in your recipes. Alfalfa honey can also be used as a syrup substitute and a brown sugar substitute for your oatmeal.
